Job Description
- Import Shipping Handling: Manage import shipping processes, coordinating with freight forwarders and shipping lines to ensure timely shipments.
- Shipments Budget Management: Initiate and oversee shipment budgets, focusing on cost-effective logistics solutions and tracking financial accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Handle ACID issuance for shipments, ensuring full compliance with Nafeza and CargoX regulations.
- Shipments Insurance Documentation: Prepare insurance certificates to provide full coverage for cargo.
- Clearance Management: Communicate with clearance companies to expedite shipment clearance, optimizing the import process.
- Customs Follow-Up: Perform daily check-ins with customs brokers to keep shipments on schedule during clearance.
- Document Handling: Oversee the release of original shipping documents from banks, ensuring timely and accurate document processing.
- Invoice and Payment Management: Receive, review, and manage freight invoices, coordinating payments to maintain accurate financial records.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in any field; Science or Engineering major is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills for effective communication.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Nafeza, CargoX, and ACID procedures, as well as proficiency with tracking software.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage schedules, documentation, and communications efficiently.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance standards.
