Job Description
- IT Project Manager responsible for developing, in conjunction with the Project Sponsor, a definition of the project.
- Ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (Within agreed specifications).
- Ensure that the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project Stakeholders).
IT Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the process of project deliverable submission, review and sign- off
- Recruiting project staff and consultants.
- Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level.
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented appropriately.
- Monitoring project progress and performance.
- Providing status reports to the project sponsor.
- Managing project training within the defined budget.
- Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities
- Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
- Final approval of the design specification.
- Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Definition and management of User Acceptance Testing.
- Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programs.
- Overall delivery, execution, monitoring, and tracking/reporting of their assigned project(s).
Job Requirements
IT Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in Project Manager Role.
- Have leading minimum Ten IT Projects & the Project size is medium or large,
- Project management certification PMP.
- Need excellent oral/written English skills and be able to take minutes of meetings.
- Bilingual English /Arabic language skills preferred.
- Need excellent knowledge of MS office and other tools (word, outlook, excel,
- PowerPoint, internet),
- Need excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Have experience in operational and administrative tasks.
- Should be efficient, flexible, and stress-resistant.
- Need good presentation and relationship skills.
- Should be a team player and able to work autonomously.
- Should be enthusiastic and positive.
- Personal drive to deliver results on time, quality and margin requirement.
- Be able to work flexible hours depending on project needs.
- Self-Motivated to solve issues.
- Team worker and will fit in quickly
- Ability to grasp new technical skills /u technologies quickly.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
