Job Description
Position Summary:
- QC Engineer manages all inspection activities indoor production process and also outsourcing process in terms of material specifications, related to quality control requirements and inspection test plane issued from the quality assurance department.
- QC Engineer Manage calibration process for QC tools/equipment’s before using in the inspection.
- Manage/review different inspection categories (hold, witness, and review points) issue consequences inspection reports based on applicable acceptance criteria and testing procedure/certificates in compliance with TB policy.
Key roles and accountabilities
- Monitor machining operation control.
- Calibration of measuring instruments and test equipment assuring that only calibrated test equipment and measuring instruments are used.
- Issuing the certificates of examinations/tests/inspection performed.
- Assembling inspection.
- Assist the QC Manager on the resolution of quality problems related issues.
- Follow up in process activity, monitoring the travelers during manufacturing, and signing off quality control operations.
- Follow up on the NCR process/activity required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- (Education) An engineering degree is required, Mechanical production or metallurgy is preferable.
- (Experience) (3-5) years of experience at Quality Control field
- (International certificate required) valid certificates as the following:
- VT, PT, MT, UT, or RT according to ASNT-SNT-TC-1A.
- CWI; CSWIP; BGAS or IWE is preferable.
Skills & Competencies (Technical, Mgt/Leadership, and Behavioral)
- Demonstrated personal commitment to quality and proven track created /received record and encouraging compliance with HSE expectations.
- Good experience with the international standard ASME, ASTM &API
- Ability to interpret and analyses for NDT against standard /specifications.
- Demonstrated abilities in working with multi-discipline and diverse teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to deliver outstanding results with minimum supervision.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of oil and gas industry/service principles.
- Experiences using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, project, and access.
- Good command of the English language both written and spoken.
