Job Description
Roles
- Develop back-end services and APIs
- Conduct code reviews and receive code handover from third parties
- Maintain and add new functionality to Enterprise systems
- Responsible for maintenance of code-base and solving bugs
- Support our technical and application support staff in solving issues with the applications
- Develop new integrations with other external and internal systems
- Conduct functional requirements gathering and system analysis
Job Requirements
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
- experience in developing applications in containers
- Excellent programming skills in one of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, python, Go, Rust, PHP
- Knowledge of backend service development on Linux/Unix
- Knowledge of API service development
- Familiarity with web application frameworks
- Knowledge of security, encryption and authentication
- Business application experience is a plus
- Knowledge of event driven programming
- Knowledge of Micro-services
