Job Description
- Implements specific Electrical engineering works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his department.
- Organizes and supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.
- Responsible for efficient and effective design of Electrical engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
- Verifies that all designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with PCE policies and manuals.
- Liaises as directed with owner representation engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
- Analyzes space utilization effectiveness and changing demands for space needs: recommends actions to meet new requirements.
- Assists in preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.
- Assists in preparation of design development drawings.
- Assists in developing and/or coordinating development of detailed working drawings after approval for project has been obtained.
- Assists in preparation of B.O.Q and specifications.
- Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Electrical Section Head and Department Manager or his responsible Principal Engineer, as applicable.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Engineering Contracting Companies is preferred.
- Experience 1-3 years
- Proficiency in all the related computer programs
- Revit is a PLUS
- Excellent command of English is a must
