Job Description
- Provide technical knowledge, operations experience, and management skills in the daily direction and efficient performance of Environment, Health and Safety related activities/functions.
- Supervise the employees on a day and shift basis in the attainment of short and long-term facility objectives.
- Ensure EHS procedures and rules are implemented and comply with legal and corporate EHS standards.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and define control measures to reduce risks to acceptable level.
- Assist by Accident and Incident investigations to ensure that the basic causes are defined so adequate actions can be taken.
- Process the safety figures and analyses to define proper actions.
- Conduct safety inspections to proper implementation.
- Conduct required scaffolds inspections, renewals and approvals.
- Standardize and simplify systems to ensure easy integration of EHS into Operations.
- Corporate with all departments to synergize specific EHS requirements and needs.
- Participate in the safety inductions for contractors with the contractor supervisor to ensure that safety knowledge is well transferred
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical, industrial or Chemical Engineer.
- More than 2 years’ experience in industrial processing environment.
- Basic experience in EHS systems.
- Basic knowledge in risk assessment.
- EHS qualification OSHA/IOSH is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Excellent MS office user.
