Job Description

  • Identify existing problems in the equipment’s; recommend and implement the most effective solutions to rectify them.
  • Coordinate with the production team in conducting the troubleshooting of machines and equipments.
  • Conduct required checks and recommend necessary enhancements to increase machine efficiency.
  • Lead the Electrical & Automation team, contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Electrical maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures as well the Machinery PLC software modifications to aid and improve plant operational performance 
  • Organize & Manage the required plant spare parts stock through SAP 
  • Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities to optimize plant results and ensuring the achievement of related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  
  • Responsible of maintaining the continuous operation of plants, leading team of technicians and troubleshooting the electrical malfunctions in Mcc & Automation control & Plc and Instrumentation.
  • Execute any modifications needed in Automation system and Plc programming according to plant needs
  • Preparing schedules for periodically electrical maintenance
  • Conduct the required preventative maintenance as per the schedule and as coordinated with the production department head.
  • Ensure that cleanliness of machines/components and utilities in assigned areas, as well as neatness and tidiness of the workshop are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain and enforce all accredited certifications the company holds with respect to procedures, policies and standards.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining and enforcing relevant management systems.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing/Stores department to establish spare parts availability based on the urgency of spare parts requirements (Spare parts inventory management for assigned area of responsibility)

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering 
  • From 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role preferably within building and constructions material 
  • Very good experience with PLC , programming and panel builder 
  • Electrical wiring diagram reading, understanding and analysis
  • Knowledge of Computer and MS office.
  • Very good command of English
  • Leadership and communication skill
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
