Job Description
- Review the tender documents (including Instruction to Tender) to analyze the quantification requirements, and assign relevant tasks to tender engineers.
- Coordinate with the Procurement department to get feedback about subcontractors’ prices (whenever needed), and analyze, revise, and provide guidance to tender engineers on, the breakdown of, and comparisons between, price offers from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Determine, and seek the consultation and/or approval of the Deputy Tender Manager and the Tender Manager on, the subcontractors to deal with for the relevant project(s), and create a Tracing List to record and document their details.
- Assign relevant tasks to Quantity Survey Engineers, and provide them with the necessary guidance- whenever needed- on the tools to be used.
- Keep track of projects’ statuses, create checklist for assigned duties and tasks, and report relevant information to the Tender manager at the end of the project.
- Attend kick-off meeting with project team internally within the department, and the per- and post-tender meetings with the client to get information about any clarifications needed, seek further input, negotiate, and respond to inquiries.
- Liaise with the Planning department the time schedule of the project by providing the Method of Statement to make sure all needed data for creating the time schedule of the project is communicated and clarified.
- Revise the technical and commercial (in coordination with Commercial department) proposals before being sent to clients.
- Hand over the project related papers and documents to the executive team in case of being awarded.
- Assist in investigating and providing information on international sub-contractors, suppliers, or foreign labor or material costs for international projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural / Civil Engineering only who can apply
- 3-5 years of experience in Tendering
- Excellent usage of Auto CAD and MS Office
- Excellent French verbal and written Speaking is a must required
- Very organized and detail-oriented
