Job Description
- Builds, releases and configures production systems.
- Installs and configures a variety of NoSQL databases, web servers, application frameworks, caches, and distributed messaging systems.
- Enables the automation of configuration management of all development, staging, and production environments as well as the automation of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Learns new technologies and systems as needed with minimal supervision and assistance.
- Implement disaster recovery plans.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of Linux OS and shell-scripting.
- A clear understanding of web and system security issues.
- Experience installing and configuring a variety of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis and Message brokers such as ActiveMQ , RabbitMQ
- Proficient in Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Zappi
- Proficiency in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud provider solutions (e.g, DigitalOcean, Linode)
- Preferred basic knowledge about scaling APIs and websites.
