Job Description

We are looking for a smart and talented Delivery Manager who can perform several important roles within our organization. You will be responsible for research, planning, and implementing new programs and protocols into our company technical Products (eCommrce & ePayment) related. You will also be required to oversee the entire development process of new software products (Cloud, Mobile & Desktop). Your active participation will be required from the initial planning phase to implementation and production. Additionally, you are required to keep track of all the costs related to the creation of these new Software products and decide what ideas are worth pursuing. You should also stay informed on what is happening in the research and development area within global market to make sure the company is up-to-date and current with the most advanced R&D developments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key projects with R&D for new software products to support business goals.
  • Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing software products and study the potential of new applications.
  • Determine and execute improved technologies used by competitors, and customers.
  • Support the business plans to achieve annual goals throughout the delivered solutions among competitors.
  • Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with the Marketing, Sales & Operations teams.
  • Transfer new technologies, products into new software products.
  • Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of our company goals.
  • Document all phases of research and development.
  • Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing software products before publishing to public or private use.
  • Oversee complex software and electronic solution projects, analyze results and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Own the technology roadmap that will drive future products and features that directly affect our growth in this critical space.
  • Manage the agile development process and methodology to deliver tech requirements on time and with a high degree of precision and quality.
  • Own key decisions on building new services vs reusing / repurposing existing services.
  • Develop, maintain and implement technical software delivery plans.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Software engineering.
  • Proven track record of working within development teams implementing large scale e-Commerce projects and deploy successfully into production.
  • Good hands on experience on Ecommerce Tools such as (SFCC (Demandware)/Hybris).
  • 10+ years as Software delivery manager and 5+ years of experience in eCommerce & ePayment projects
  • PMP Certification is a must.
  • TOGAF and other Management Certificates is a PLUS!
  • Proven experience in a relevant role and eCommerce & ePayment projects.
  • Experience running multiple Sprint teams on one Agile project a plus.
  • A strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving problems creatively.
  • Experience in managing 100+ resources in a single account or multiple accounts.
  • Anticipate problems before they occur; define the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution.
  • High sense of details-oriented profile.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
  • The ability to communicate and lead customers, colleagues, and lower-level staff.
  • Hands-on experience in managing or leading a team of employees.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and good at managing time.
  • Business innovation with analytical mentality.
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Professional Excel & MS Project user 
  • Plan and forecast the budget, monitor and control expenditure and ensuring effective service cost model throughout the whole service lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  • Able to see the big picture as he will have to envision projects from start to finish.
  • Having a keen ability to pay attention to details is important, as R&D managers ultimately need to closely supervise every step of the development process for new products. 
  • Leadership and managerial skills are also important in this role, as well as the ability to communicate well with colleagues and lower-level staff. 
  • A strong sense of creativity will also aid in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving problems creatively.
