Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of production including; operational performance, quality assurance, production planning, and labor management. Liaise with suppliers and distributors ensuring that the mill is able to provide customers with products at all times
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager in order to ensure that planned maintenance does not have detrimental effects on the production level.
- Manage daily and long-term production activities to meet or exceed budgeted quality, yield and operating cost targets by managing equipment efficiency and productivity
- Manage employees operating all machinery and systems for all shifts, ensuring sound practice in all plant disciplines
- Develop and mentor professional growth & advancement of department staff
- Production Planning, Problem solving and Development of production
- Accurate stock control of all raw materials and finished products on site.
- Health and Safety and Environmental Management on site.
- Adjust equipment to achieve the highest performance
- Performance monitoring/benchmarking.
- Budget control for production, transport and maintenance operations.
- Put all specifications for different types of flour according to required for different customer
- make all blends of wheat According to the types of flour
- Ensure the plant remains clean and hygienic-
- Ensure all products produced is consistent with company standards and specifications.
