Job Description
- The Content Writer at INSITE OOH Media Platform develops content for publication on our website, as
- well as our printed edition (upcoming). The job entails high amounts of research, the ability to juggle
- communication channels across different teams, and follow-up of marketing and advertising initiatives
- in general – and outdoor media in particular.
- The desirable candidate is a cultured individual who reads, likes to learn new things every day, and is
- not afraid of leaving their comfort zone to see the world out there. S/he is committed to constant
- improvement and recognizes the significance of what INSITE OOH Media Platform represents in the
- Advertising Industry of Egypt and The Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Include, but not limited to:
- Publish daily News posts according to campaigns availability – an average of 4 posts per day
- Write Special Articles according to demand – Market Insights (1x monthly), Experts Talk (1-2x monthly), Creative Concept (when available)
- Maintain Editorial Calendar up-to-date
- Schedule posts and articles according to Content Marketing Strategy
- Communicate with MOOH Monitoring Team and follow up on campaigns, defining the priority of news posts
- Inform Graphic Designer of posts priority to have photos ready in time for publication
- Prepare bi-monthly Newsletter The INSITEBRIEF and arrange set-up and delivery with our Web Development team
- Regularly review website and carry out any necessary edits – posts, sections, tags, brand names, advertisers, etc.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist (team) by delivering specific engaging titles for each news post
- Contribute to the development of relevant social media content and make sure monthly posting plan is ready in time
- Advise social media team of reposting of articles according to Editorial Calendar
- Creatively connect with brands online or by email to pursue Campaign Insider articles
- Research brands and products
- Keep a knowledgeable track of campaigns on all media – TV, SM, outdoor, press...
- Build and regularly feed our database of brands
- Attend Marketing & Advertising events, conferences, seminars, etc as assigned by Management
- Work in teams and individually to achieve goals and deliver work in a timely manner
- Represent the brand in a professional manner at all times
- Keep inline with partners’ (OUTSITE, MOOH) projects & campaigns by communicating and collaborating with other teams
- Contributing to the partners’ creative process and media production
- Promote the brand and partners’ brands on external media
Job Requirements
- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones, both in English and Arabic.
- Impeccable spelling and grammar in both languages a must
- Great researcher, with strong analytical, conceptual/strategic thinking
- Strong organizational skills, with knowledge of planning and scheduling tasks, generating insights and reporting.
- Solid computer skills with hi-command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with software in general and technological digital devices
- Proven working experience in news outlets, advertising agencies, online portals, social media/marketing, or related field.
- Certificate of Communications, Marketing, Business Admin, New Media or Public Relations
- Familiarity in Digital Marketing, Social Networking, and SEO a plus
