Job Description
- Manage, assign/prioritize workloads, and provide leadership to junior engineers performing plumbing system design.
- Assess and anticipate deliverables, prepare budgets and schedules, and communicate resource requirements to senior management.
- Represent CoolSys Energy Design in project meetings covering technical issues, including meetings with utilities, owners, contractors, construction subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Maintain responsible control over all design activities pertaining to the project, including engineering, quality control, and code compliance.
- Perform site inspections to determine compliance with construction documents and resolve design issues during the construction phase.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and work with outside resources to incorporate special hazard systems.
- Document production of small and large projects.
- Participate in conceptual design for specific projects.
- Create and maintain AutoCAD and Revit drawing packages.
- Provide deliverables and products such as calculations, drawings, and specifications related to plumbing systems.
- Comply with project schedules, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure work is executed accurately and in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that design calculations and engineering drawings are constructible, comply with code, and meet customer quality requirements and company standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering
- Plumbing & Firefighting Design Engineer 8-10 Years of experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer-aided design AUTO CAD & REVIT software and tools related to Plumbing & Firefighting discipline.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel.
- Previous experience in KSA is a must
- CAP Projects experience is an advantage
- Previous experience in high reputed Consultant Engineering Companies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Plumbing & Firefighting design standards and codes.
- Previous experience in preparing all tender documents (design drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications).
- Previous experience in different type of projects (Hospitals, Hospitably, Commercial, Residential & Mixed Use).
- Very good English both spoken and written.
- Very good computer skills (Windows - Excel - Word- AutoCAD- Outlook – Internet).
- Has high communication skills.
