Job Description
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention activities.
- Ensures HR administration hygiene (Time and Attendance, Absence Management, Payroll inputs , onboarding ,terminations, HRIS entries)
- Acts as an expert in all HR policies and processes
- Provides effective query handling and problem solving for HR processes and policies
- Provides timely local payroll and labor planning inputs to regional payroll and Finance team respectively.
- Executes and maintain communication and engagement tools
- Facilitates engagement activities, contests, etc...
- Addresses low risk employee cases and conflict resolutions
- Ensures discipline and compliance to labor law and Amazon values by conducting investigations, implementing disciplinary actions, as required.
- Executes assigned HR projects across Egypt.
- Identify areas of labor relations risks and propose solutions.
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of HR experience with frontline staff (blue collars) and hourly labor
- Experience in a similar industry is a plus
- Relevant degree in HR, Business or equivalent
- Advanced use of Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluent proficiency in English and Arabic.- both written and verbal
- Flexibility to commute/travel frequently across sites within and outside Cairo
- High attention to detail and accuracy and demonstrated track record of working to tight deadlines
