Job Description
- Collaborating and working with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary
- Scope, specify, supervise and quality control the stake out and as-built survey
- Presenting data to clients and preparing reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.
- Support the development and maintenance of work scopes and technical specifications for land based survey operations in line with technological developments and industry standards and practices.
- Provide support and expert technical advice within practical, surveying and mapping to departments and teams.
- Employing specialized equipment, including distance measuring wheels, GPS and geographic information system (GIS) devices to measure boundaries and contours.
- Researching and consulting historical maps and surveys, as well as legal documents, relating to the property or section of land they are measuring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences, geophysics, or a related field
- Preferably (Shoubra Faculty of Engineering)/ Civil Engineer
- English fluency is a must
- Presentable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of mapping concepts.
- Experience with computer drafting programs.
- Must have the ability to train, lead, guide & advise others less experienced analysts.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have the ability to write and develop documentation, participate in technical meetings and help the business develop requirements
- Candidate must be flexible, have patience and be very creative
- Actively mentors intermediate and junior developers
