Job Description
- Automation Engineer design, research, build, test, and improve automation systems and equipment.
- Assessing project requirements and system specifications based on international standards, industrial requirements, and regulations.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and Bill of Material.
- Selecting the components required to execute the design.
- Developing and testing design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility.
- Issue the design project document and write the project’s activities and user manual.
- Assist in the development and applying test plans.
- Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.
- Participate in product assembly.
- Attend coordination/ kick-off meetings as necessary.
- Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.
- Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the system or in the machine.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Programming all variants of industrial robots by basic or C language.
- Candidates with 2-5 years of experience with SolidWorks/Electrical&Simulation and PLC are preferred.
- Highly skills in a full picture of motion control (inverter setting and the proper control mode).
- Highly skills in a full picture of the safety concept to make the machine secure for human using.
- Engineering knowledge of defined requirements and validation of component(s) / system(s) design, function,
- Performance, production & manufacturing requirements, testing, and validation.
- Programing skills any type of PLCs using any type of the standard IEC 61131-3 (LD, FBD, ST, IL, and SFC) and can use C language as well.
- Can manage the best sequence of the machine operation to get the optimum cycle time (machine time analysis).
Personal Skills:
- Full awareness with international design standards and regulation (especially European standard)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Strong English verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Education:
- BS degree in Mech Electronics or Electrical Engineering
