Job Description

  • Assisting in developing, and responsible for executing the Internal Communications Plan for NU Faculty members, Employees and Students as per Marketing Strategy, across channels, by availing the necessary resources, and overlooking the quality of execution of all activities, on time to deliver expected engagement and satisfaction results, and keep all stakeholders up to date with important updates, announcements and happenings.
  • Creating and developing content/ articles to be published on NU website, journals and on social media
  • Managing communications with PR and digital marketing agencies, communicating briefs, objectives and NU directions.
  • Participating in Target Audience understanding and value proposition identification for different target audience segments, and developing effective value-based communications and monitoring the effectiveness of communication tools with the target audience.
  • Responsible for aligning all internal NU stakeholders with the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization, as well as creating and maintaining relevant and effective internal branding of the NU premises.
  • Responsible for maintaining brand equity by delivering appropriate corporate identity elements to be used by NU Staff, Employees and Students.
  • Supervising Internal and external events scheduling, planning and execution, and following up on proper communication and coverage of events.
  • Supervising Marcomms team, by revising and editing all content before publsihing and following up on assigned tasks and ensure proper delivery to stakeholders on deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, marketing, public relations or any related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in communications, events, and /or marketing activities.
  • Experience in executing marketing campaigns and managing events
  • Professional experience in internal/corporate/employee communications
  • Have the proven ability to create content and craft key messages related to employee/human resources matters
  • Be proficient in multiple forms of communications technologies and approaches
  • Photoshop knowledge is a plus
