Job Description

Scope: This role is responsible for the support of all IT related tasks for the users in the branches under his scope. He is responsible as well for the Server Room, IP Telephony and the maintenance of User and IT Infrastructure Asset Inventory

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support users in coordination with Johnson Controls help-desk and Infrastructure in the troubleshooting and resolution of all IT related issues
  • Responsible for the server room and all its assets
  • Responsible for providing telephone extension sets to the users and handover of these assets upon clearance
  • Both the user and IT Infrastructure asset inventory will be the responsibility of this role. He will ensure new employees are provided with new laptops in coordination with HR and proper handover is done before their clearance. He should keep a track of the history of the users’ laptops and schedule refresh plan. IT Infrastructure assets are also very critical, he should ensure that all infrastructure assets are in proper operational condition
  • Client computers are equipped with necessary software to enable the users to operate. This role should see that all applications installed comply with local and corporate regulations. He should identify and escalate any violations as such

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or comparable field
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in IT
  • Professional Certifications to have: MCP, MCSE, Network+ and CCNA
  • Sufficient knowledge in User Support Management & IT Asset Management
  • Strong experience and knowledge in computer hardware and software
  • Strong experience with service support tools and processes
  • Strong experience in Active Directory
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in client computing hardware and applications
  • Project Management experience in user support related projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Active and solution-oriented personality
  • Fluent in English & Arabic languages is a Must, both verbal and written
