About the company
- Fast growing import-export intermediary company based in Hungary and Egypt. The company sources fresh fruits and vegetables from Egypt for the EU importers.
- Ancient Agent takes care of all the key details and hidden subtleties on behalf of the importer regarding comparing offers, REGULAR quality checks, communication and many more.
Job Responsibilities
- As a remote procurement specialist, you are our connecting rod between us and the fresh fruits and vegetables suppliers and exports in Egypt. You are required to
- Develop and implement the procurement and sourcing strategies adopted by the company.
- Issue RFQ’s/inquiries/tenders and obtain quotations/offers through email or excel sheets for each order the candidate is willing to undertake.
- Monitor exporter’s compliance to be in-line with product description and order specifications.
- Maintain our reputation and credibility in the market by fair dealings and negotiation tactics.
- Negotiate the importer’s favorable terms, conditions and pricing to fulfill the timely delivery of orders when and where needed.
- Provide value added services to the company by constantly striving to find better qualities, sources of supply, and better ways of meeting the needs of the importers.
- Follow up with suppliers/exporters until the consignment is shipped.

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fresh fruits and vegetables field.
- Experiences in sourcing and/or sales in supplier side.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Programs, and internet skills.
- Good command of written business English.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong network of export companies and fresh produce suppliers.
- Knowledge about quality certificates such as (Global.G.A.B- ISO9001…etc.) and quality inspection methods and companies.
- Knowledge about INCOTERMS, payment terms and export procedure in general.
- Strong knowledge about fresh produce seasons and key-players in the Egyptian Market.
