Job Description
Student Admission:
- Know and follow the school’s Admissions Policy and Procedures with accuracy
- To manage students’ admission process as highlighted in the school admission policy.
- Be the first point and continual point of contact with all prospective families
- Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of the department’s communication plan to prospective and admitted students.
- Organize and administer required admissions assessments
- Organize and conduct student and parent interviews, coordinating with school leadership
- Liaison with school Head, coordinators and teaching staff the organizing of admission exams and reaching final decisions.
- Keep accurate, organized, pertinent, confidential files for each prospective student, which will include required documentation, interview notes, and assessments
- Keep records of all students admitted at the school complying with the requirements of the Egyptian ministry of education for international schools.
- Registers incoming students and processes enrollment materials; completes data entry on computer; coordinates services and information with sending/receiving schools and Ministry of Education; completes procedures for students withdrawing from the school.
Students Affairs Communication:
- Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Maintains student attendance records or monitors maintenance of records.
- Contacting parents concerning questionable absences of students.
- Maintains records and files for student information.
- Maintains student records on database.
- Responsible for the examination process, Receive the examination answer papers from the educational administration.
- Receive the examination results from the educational administration.
- Responsible for transfer papers.
- Responsible for student online registration.
- Responsible for receiving the ministry books from the educational administration.
- Responsible for the examination process
Welcoming Parent and Guests:
- Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing information and creating a good image of the district
- Manages telephone message system (office hours, inclement weather and other recorded messages)
- Greets visitors to the school in a pleasant and informed manner
- Responds to inquiries for the purpose of referrals and directions as may be required
- Forwards requests for information and messages to the appropriate individuals
- Maintains office hours meeting, per teachers or Pedagogical Leadership Team, held at school
- Assists personnel with the emailing and distribution of various documents and communication
- Performs other clerical tasks as assigned including word processing and creating databases, etc.
- Any other related duties assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Experience 3+ years. Preferably at schools.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Full fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
- Strong speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to work with Google Drive and/or Microsoft Word products with ease, especially PowerPoint and Google Presentations
- Organizational and management skills
- Experience with international curricula preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge of International Baccalaureate programs preferred
- Background in sales and/or marketing would be helpful
