Job Description
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Build automated reports and dashboards to support our decision making process
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
- Document databases and data processes
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Job Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to translate complex analysis and concepts for non-experts
- Capable of working well independently, as a member of a team, and cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions independently
- Proficient in using SQL with proven ability to create and to evaluate complex SQL statements involving numerous tables and complex relationships
- Fluent in Python and experience using common modules (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) for exploratory data analysis
- 1 to 3 years of working experience as a data analyst or a similar role
- Keen on documenting your work to make it available for future reference
