SQL Server Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Advanced knowledge in implementing operational automation using scripts
- Advanced Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
- Basic knowledge with backups, restores and recovery models
- Basic knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for MSSQL Server
- Basic knowledge with SQL Server Replication: ability to configure, troubleshoot
- Basic knowledge working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations
Cloud Admin Requirements
- Advanced to Expert AWS Knowledge in core service
- Virtual Hosting: EC2, EBS, EFS, S3
- Security: IAM, KMS/Encryption concepts
- Networking: VPC basics, Security Groups, ALB/NLB
- Monitoring: CloudWatch
- Advanced Knowledge of scripting technologies
- Infrastructure as code: Ansible, Terraform.
- PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python and/or PHP.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts of DNS, NTP, DHCP, VLANs, HTTP/HTTPS and IPSec/SSL VPNs.
- Basic knowledge with production level web hosts including IIS, J2EE application servers
