Job Description

  • Monitor the everyday operations of the Motakamel ERP application team and provide regular feedback.
  • Assist internal departments and provide regular feedback to the operation team.
  • Develop professional relations with other depts. moreover; establish effective solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop enhancements to achieve them.
  • Prepare designs and maintenance costs for various business application developments.
  • Work with business and IT teams and manage all project requirements.
  • Analyze current system processes and design functional requirements.
  • Develop work schedules and ensure all applications work within the work schedule.
  • Manage efficient work of various teams and participate in associate activities.
  • Determine and analyze various processes and implement changes for improvement.
  • Administer departmental programs for the organization.
  • Prepare documents and evaluate them for accuracy.
  • Manage and provide support to critical business application systems.
  • Plan budgets and manage all operations within control expenses.
  • Maintain the ERP running in perfect condition.
  • Perform and test backup procedures to ensure business continuity in case of disaster.
  • Maintain a consistent log of all changes done on the application and related circumstances.
  • Ensure fast RTO and RPO for the application to prevent data losses.
  • Daily maintenance of applications. Maintenance includes monitoring application functionality to guarantee the availability of software on the computer network. Creating a backup system for applications and files associated with business operations.
  • Maintaining business applications include duties such as assigning access and permission levels to employees. Based on job function.
  • Assesses business process requirements.
  • Manages system hardware and application software implementation and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoots problems with the application.
  • Creates processes and protocols for software implementation and usage.
  • Provide business application liaison coordination between multiple technical, business, and vendor in support of organizational needs.
  • Perform Application Administrator duties for assigned applications (Such as user creation and permissions setting, .. etc.).
  • Support Users on complex technical issues including problems related to business applications.
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality issues and provide support and troubleshooting for multiple applications.
  • Recommendations and oversight of operational maintenance, administration, daily monitoring, Service / Operation Level Agreement, performance, capacity, and troubleshooting of business applications.
  • Ensure application knowledge and associated documentation is updated to facilitate service support for business applications.
  • Coordinate with technical teams the delivery and packaging of applications to users for business applications.
  • Understand, investigate, monitor, and aid in the resolution of integration touchpoints.
  • Participate in internal Application implementations, upgrades, tests, and retirements.
  • Participate in the planning and testing for disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Participate in End-user training Delivery “including one-to-one Training”.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technology features.
  • Adhere to solid security technology practices.
  • Provide On-Call support when required.

Job Requirements

  • A relevant bachelor’s/associate degree is needed with a technology background in computer science in management information systems.
  • At least 10 years of experience with ERP systems and business applications in a corporate environment.
  • Good/ Excellent experience with Motakamel ERP preferred in the pharmaceutical environment.
  • A broad knowledge of computer networking, installation, and administration of networks; analytical and communication skills are required.
  • He needs to have computer troubleshooting expertise and extensive knowledge about viruses and the appropriate methods and programs to use in removing them from the system and keeping it from reoccurring.
  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.
  • Very good Experience with database management (preferred Oracle Database).
  • Experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with Project management principles.
  • Experience with Information systems troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing automated business systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience in preparing workflow analyses.
  • Experience leading and facilitating training.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to work fluidly with business and technical customers.
  • Exceptional Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Promotes teamwork by building commitment and maintaining optimism.
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Very good writing skills in both Arabic and English, including technical and business writing.
