Job Description
- Interpreting and translating customer needs into rough plans
- Produce “sample” and “mood products”
- Assisted with on-site client meetings, project measurements, documentation (to include photographing), and site visits to ensure execution of plans and specifications, and to monitor the overall progress of the project.
- Prepare and participate in client presentations
- Select finishing materials, decor items while keeping within budget
- Conduct on-site observations
Job Requirements
- Answering the pre-screening questions is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
- 5 years relevant interior design experience
- In-depth knowledge of finishing materials
- Demonstrated understanding of basic principles of space planning
- Able to develop and present design concepts
- Imagination and eye for design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max or another design tool
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
- Communication and presentation skills
