Job Description
We are looking for a software developer with 1-2 years of experience who will be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of the apps, websites and backends we build. You will create apps, websites and backends/mirco-services from concept all the way through to completion, shaping everything from the home page to layout and function.
Responsibilities:
- Writing code for multiple projects.
- Unit-Testing and End-to-End testing of code.
- Determine time estimates to complete tasks.
- Documenting technical specifications and be part of the planning process
- Write the application according to specifications.
- Coordinating with designers, administrators, project managers, and other programmers.
- Work independently, as well as work with other team members to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of applications.
- Prioritizing tasks and daily activities.
Job Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science or related.
- Solid knowledge of a back-end programming language. (Php, Java ..etc.).
- Solid knowledge of a relevant and globally supported front-end framework/ library. (Vue, React ..etc.).
- Knowledge of the JavaScript, TypeScript -including ES6+ syntax- and its nuances.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries (Sass, Less, and webpack).
- Knowledge of automated testing suites.
- Ability to write well-documented, clean code.
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Agile/Scrum software development process and scrum.
- Experience with a Source Control. (ie: Git) and GitFlow.
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code.
Desired Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Docker.
- Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka or a relevant event streaming platform.
- Solid knowledge of temporal.io or a relevant orchestration platform.
