Job Description
- Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of core Java
- Expertise with JSF, Spring and Hibernate frameworks
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services
- Strong knowledge of OO design and Java EE patterns
- Experience with Web model view controller (MVC) frameworks
- Experience with web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery
- SQL and stored procedures (preferably MySQL)
- Familiar with Ant , Maven and Gradle
- Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- JUnit,TestNG, unit testing, test automation and mocking frameworks
- Familiar with SVN and Mercurial
- Familiar with Cloud Computing concepts
- Agile software development methodologies
- BS in computer science or equivalent
