Job Description
Our client is a global leader in biotechnology and their main focus is the research, development, and production of industrial enzymes, microorganisms, and biopharmaceutical ingredients.
They are looking for a structured and experienced baker who also has a commercial mindset to support our sales team in the field by helping our customers technically on “how to” use our products and innovative concepts.
- You will use your good understanding of the baking processes and your knowledge of local, regional, and international bread types, dough making procedures, raw materials, and ingredients to get the sales operations supported and our products and innovations are delivering value to our customers and community.
- Conduct and optimize baking trials using SOP, elaborating E-Systems filling the test protocols, working with existing recipes for baked goods and developing new original ones, filing the customer interactions in CRM, working closely with the sales team on generating new opportunities and following the HSE regulations closely.
- You will be a part of the team working with customers' projects, capable to demonstrate the baking performance of the company solutions to the customers during the Baking courses, seminars, roadshows, customers' days, and customers’ visits.
- Furthermore, you are interested in working in a global environment and turning ideas and technology into solutions.
- You like to handle several tasks at a time while still being systematic and have a sense of detail.
Job Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience from the baking industry (preferably from improvers houses or milling industry) and preferably have experience from working in an international environment
- Possess good oral English skills and native in Arabic.
- Good understanding of local bread (fino, pita, Lebanese) and Middle Eastern markets
- Have user knowledge of MS Office software package (especially Word and Excel)
- Have a proactive, optimistic, passionate and adaptable mindset
- Have a “just do it” attitude and are happy to take the initiative when needed, a good sense of humor, and enjoy working as part of a team.
