Job Description

  • Nejmo is a new well funded social platform that will surely make a buzz in the MENA region in the upcoming months.
  • We are now hiring a Senior Social Media Specialist/ Account Executive who has a strong experience in managing social media accounts and ready to lead our social media division

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and supervise the execution of social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Achieve the company’s online goals through creating and supervising creative online campaigns
  • Manage the social media team and ensure their efficiency in executing plans
  • Manage and supervise the generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content and enhance its online image
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (PR, Sales, Media buying) to manage reputation, develop, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Create a weekly online situational analysis report and discuss it with the Marketing Manager

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in managing big brands' social media presence
  • Outstanding creativity, proven with campaigns portfolio
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels (Facebook, IG, Google Ads, TikTok, Snap Chat...)
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Fluency in English
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
