Job Description
Job Purpose : Ensure that cost, value, quality and reliability are taken into account for all buying decisions
Main Responsibilities:
- Search & Evaluate new Sources based on price, service, quality to Comply with quality requirements and department standards.
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with all vendors.
- Apply & organize Technical & Raw/Pack materials contracts.
- Determine and develop appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services
- Play an active role in achieving departmental objectives such as cost payment terms, technical order cost and number of rush orders
- Follow- up Spent, Scorecard, MOR & Pricelist issuance.
Job Requirements
Desired Education, skills and Knowledge
- BSc. degree from an accredited university in Engineering (Production / Mechanical / Chemical) or Science (Chemistry)
- 2-4 years of experience in Purchasing in FMCG Sector (preferably)
- SC. / Procurement certifications (preferably)
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to work under tight deadlines as required
- High Level of Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office software and search engines
