Who We Are
PCG is a Market Research Agency that owns a software product. The product is a market research platform that helps companies better understand how their customers use their products while going about their everyday lives. It is made up of a web-based backend used by researchers and iOS/Android apps used by research participants. Participants complete tasks on their phones via mobile apps and researchers organize/analyze tasks from the web-based backend. Tasks involve taking pictures/videos and answering multiple-choice questions from mobile devices.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security, bug-fixing and app improvement duties
- Add new features and functionality to the apps
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new software technology
- Manage your time independently and work efficiently with coworkers
Job Requirements
- We are looking for a passionate, results-driven developer who has a minimum of 5-10 years of experience developing mobile applications for android
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience developing Android apps
- Strong knowledge of the latest Android frameworks and implementations
- Must work at least 5-6 hours overlap with U.S. EST Hours (9am EST to 3 pm EST, then two/three of your choosing as this is when the team in India/usa works)
- Should have good understanding of UI/UX Design concepts, especially those that are android specific
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience using version control systems, preferably GIT
