Wordbee is a successful fast-moving and innovative Internet company. Our award-winning SaaS solution enables corporations to run their translation activities on our platform.
We build web/software solutions to manage human and machine translation activities in a collaborative manner. As part of our product offering, we build connectors to Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal, Wordpress, SiteCore, Adobe AEM, Kentico and many more. We intend to build additional connectors such as for Confluence, Jira, Google Documents, etc...
Role Tasks and Responsibilities:
- As a senior software engineer, you will be entrusted to collaborate with the team in an open and supportive environment using Agile development processes to create, maintain, refactor, design, and write complex modules and sub-systems.
- Maintain a high level of code quality using unit testing, integration testing, and other advanced software development techniques to solve challenging issues and work effectively with others to come up with the best solutions.
Job Requirements
Technical Requirements
Essentials:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in web projects
- Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC.
- Strong OOP and OOD, best practices and design patterns knowledge.
- Understanding of SOLID principles.
- Strong experience with relational database development, design and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of data access technologies e.g. Entity Framework, Linq.
Plus:
- Experience or understanding of Elastic Search, Redis, Ceph
- Experience creating REST APIs.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile process
Personal Competencies:
- Very good English proficiency.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative and eager to share your knowledge and ideas.
