Job Description
- Designing company new products according to customer/marketing requirements Using SolidWorks CAD system.
- Create product documentation
- 2D drawings including all information such as GPS (geometrical product specification), welding symbols, coating & surface finish.
- Mechanical BOM including all components specifications.
- Assembly DWG.
- Assembly Instructions.
- Components inspection sheet.
- Identify the manufacturing process and process flow for each component.
- Define & communicate all specifications required for purchasing team and support in supplier selection process.
- Follow-up with purchasing team through the prototyping & manufacturing phase.
- Communicate technical issues with the sales/Marketing team during project/product study in the initial phase.
- Manage prototype from I.D to final approval; including material selection, design, manufacturing process, support for supplier selection, prototype manufacturing, documentation and product mechanical file update.
- Follow up on first ordered sample.
- Provide technical support to manufacture and assembly activities.
- Manage product updates/modifications
- Perform design validation using FEA/CFD (static) or hand calculations when required.
- Perform quality inspection on prototype and 1st production order with quality/production team.
- Manage and document test results for required certifications.
Job Requirements
- BSc of Mechanical engineering.
- 3-4 years of using Solid works.
- Experience in the field of product design.
- Experience with Pneumatic system.
- Experience with Plastic part design.
- Awareness with the required standard that required for any type of product IEC-60601 & IEC-61010 is a plus.
