Job Description
- Responsible for all aspects of the school facilities management and premises staff to ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of the school buildings and grounds at all times.
- To be responsible for the overall security arrangements of the premises including ensuring that the staff is aware of the procedures on security and the use of alarm systems.
- Ensure that periodic reviews of site security are conducted, and that appropriate progress is followed through.
- Supervise maintenance and cleanliness schedules and set routine program of work for school and grounds cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, upkeep and safety of all school buildings and premises.
- To be responsible for the line management of school and ground maintenance staff, participate in their recruitment and selection, and identify their training needs and drawing up their program of work.
- Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, supervising, and providing assistance in the provisioning, operation, and functions of the school cafeteria.
- Supervise all aspects of student transportation operations.
- Provide guidance and direction regarding fleet management and conduct regular meetings for coordination, problem solving and planning purposes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in a related position including 7+ years in a similar managerial position (education or hotel industry experience is preferable)
