Job Description
- Manage end-to-end planning from finished goods demand to material supply planning.
- To identify and resolve upcoming supply difficulties before they impact sales.
- Create/maintain/monitor production schedules to meet customer requests while optimizing inventory levels.
- Communicating with the production to approve the availability and capacity for production lines.
- Liaise with stock control, warehousing and distribution activities influenced by or reliant upon import/export activities.
- Continuously drive improvements in both Demand and Supply Planning.
- Contribute to the Slow and Obsolete inventory process.
- Develop and action strategies for the transition to new packaging and product variants which minimize obsolescence and stock write-offs.
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration
- Material Planning experience – 5-7 years of experience
- Last working post (Planning Supervisor to Planning Unit Head)
