Job Description
- Running Production area, ensures products are produced and packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications
- Ensures products are produced according to quality standards
- Accurately records products produced and problems encountered during a shift to ensure the smooth changeover of shifts
- Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Ensures all employees work in a safe manner by following company regulations
- Follow the daily production activities
- Evaluate subordinates performance
- Leading the Shift ensures team works together as efficiently as possible, ensures adequate staffing to cover absenteeism and holidays, as well as normal operations
- Correctly records the time and attendance of the team performs performance evaluations on a regular basis
- Attends meetings with Production Manager
- Reviews employee concerns and issues with the Production Manager
- Maintains good housekeeping within the department
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Agriculture.
- Technical engineering background
- Experience preferably in the plastics industry
- Good process knowledge
- Computer literate
- Ability to train personnel
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices
