Job Description

  • Provide leadership and coordination of company sales & marketing functions from strategy definition to tactical activities analysis and monitoring.
  • Establish general sales targets and assign commercial goals to account managers, and eligible product managers and product specialists (content based P&S).
  • Define the strategy to evolve current products & services and define new P&S according to market status and corporate strategy.
  • Participate in the definition of the corporate strategy.

Sales functions definition, coordination and monitoring

  • Define general sales targets (customer acquisition, retention, and expansion targets), and establish KPIs to monitor sales performance.
  • Develop and coordinate sales methodology according to sales targets and P&S to be offered to the market.
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals.
  • Set sales targets to account managers, coordinate them and provide support getting involved in major accounts and opportunities.
  • Establish and implement short and long term departmental goals, policies and operating procedures.
  • Generate and interpret sales forecast to estimate future incomes and assess sales performance.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.

Products & services strategy definition and development

  • Enforce creativity and innovation assessing concept ideas and value propositions within the organization for new P&S development.
  • Provide guidance and support for conducting market studies to assess the suitability of Qanawat’s P&S. Identify opportunities to increase and expand business.
  • Define and maintain P&S road map to control the evolution of current P&S and plan the launch of new ones.
  • Assign and coordinate product managers to define and assess the feasibility of new P&S to be launched as defined in P&S road map.
  • Assess technical and commercial feasibility analysis and preliminary business cases for new P&S definition and provide the GO/NO GO for their complete specification.
  • Support product manager conducting the detailed description of new P&S features and business requirements.
  • Review and validate new P&S specifications and final business case providing recommendations about P&S development and launch.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales & marketing materials for new P&S and coordinate training sessions for sales & marketing personnel.
  • Manage sales & marketing team:
  • Assign tasks and accountabilities for current and future accounts and P&S.
  • Oversee sales lifecycle approving eligible tasks and proposals.
  • Support and coordinate product managers in new P&S definition, and launch planning tasks.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
  • Collect feedback from sales & marketing team to improve sales & marketing policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage sales & marketing budgets.
  • Help manage the reputation and image of Qanawat in front of its customers and stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts to include public relations and community outreach.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

Job Requirements

  • A University degree, with 5 + years of work experience at a Senior Sales level focusing on IT sales, selling technology or digital media solutions to Mobile Network Operators is a must.
  • Maximum age 38
  • A strong network of existing relationships with Mobile Network Operators in Egypt or GCC Region is a valuable asset.
  • A proven track record of success in strategic planning, selling and large account sales.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiating skills and proven track record of closing contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in planning market strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations.
  • Experience in structuring sales quotas goals and revenue expectations.
  • Professional written and oral English communication and interpersonal skills. Arabic is a MUST.
  • Must be able to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
