Job Description
Position Summary:
- Scrum Master is responsible for resolving issues with and controlling scrum processes. you will be working with a team of highly skilled and experienced developers and engineers.
- You’ll be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work and outcomes. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies.
- Ultimately, you’ll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Guide, coach and motivate the team with the goal of increasing productivity;
- Organize, lead Scrum ceremonies and communicate with the main stakeholders;
- Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables that support business goals;
- Monitor schedule and cost performance;
- Identify key KPIs;
- Prepare and present reports on progress and success;
- Work with Product Owners to handle backlogs and new requests;
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur;
- Help teams implement changes effectively;
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint;
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity;
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it;
- Daily standup and follow-ups with the assigned team to the sprint;
- Attend sprint planning and manage the sprint planning;
- Manage the scrum team during the sprint;
- Keep track of the estimations and the time logged against it;
- All the required types of report to measure performance;
- Aligning the sprint and its process with the company KPIs;
- Send daily reports to PO on the sprint progress.
Job Requirements
Requirements and qualifications:
- 5+ years Scrum Master experience in any well-known software environment, preferably Jira.
- B.S in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Ability to take and understand his commitment to deliver the product on time.
- Know about the value of metrics and incremental delivery.
- Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, velocity, user stories, etc.
- Familiar with common development practices, Service-oriented environments, and Agile practices.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO).
