Job Description
- Understanding the needs and requirements of the clients by coordinating with their representatives and Functional Consultants. Seeking clarity on every minute detail in order to provide the best possible solution.
- Consulting with professionals from other departments and those working on specific SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, HCM, SD, PM/CS, SRM and PP to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
- Ensuring that all programs are completed in the schedule as per the client's guidelines.
- To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes through self-training and research work.
- Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
- Change management, transports and source code control
- Use of structured methodologies in the software development lifecycle
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
- A Solid 3-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development field.
- Minimum of 3 full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
- SAP Certification and Software development are preferable.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to travel abroad for assignments (short term and long term).
- Ability to operate in a cross-departmental environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
- Ability to A self-motivated person who displays initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Object-Oriented programming
- Working with SRM is a plus
- Working with HCM (ESS/MSS) is a must
- Experience with HR Renewal 2.0 is a plus
- Must demonstrate high enthusiasm and good business aptitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer interaction skills
- S/4 HANA Experience is a must
- Adobe Interactive Forms and Smart Forms
- Dialogue programming (Module Pool)
- RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs/Classes
- User exits/enhancements
- BDCs and LSMW
- Working knowledge of cross applications like ALE/ IDOCS.
