About this Role
ITCAN is looking for a Content Writer who will be responsible for pitching new ideas and producing high-quality, well-researched content for various media including digital marketing campaigns and internal communications as web content, digital ads and blog posts, etc. Content Writer responsibilities include searching, planning, creating, editing and publishing information on websites and social media accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create SEO content such as writing articles for offpage optimization and writing META descriptions and other SEO needs
- Works closely and efficiently with digital and social teams to ensure content is completed in a timely manner, is on brand, contains accurate information and supports intended initiatives.
- Writing content for different internal projects within the field of technology, digital marketing and other topics if needed
- Proofread and edit final deliverables using relevant rules and style guides, and industry best practices. Must have a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, usage, and mechanics
- Create /Update website content across all internal product and write articles
- Support in copy writing for banners and other ads
- Stay current with the latest social media trends, as well as relevant industry trends.
- Writing Contents that serves the purpose of our marking products or services
- Updating our website and social media pages with new contents if needed
- Coming up with new creative content ideas and strategies using research and an out of the box mindset
- Work collaboratively with teams in different departments
- Conduct competitive and industry research and propose new topics , series, and formats for company content
Job Requirements
Requirements to Apply
- Background in Marketing, English,Journalism, Mass Communication, or Multimedia fields
- You must be intensely passionate, and looking to continue your career in this field
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (writing, reading, speaking)
- Excellent ability to research through social media
- 3+ years of experience in the same field
- Passionate learner about Content Marketing trends, channels and technologies
- Past experience in Fashion blogs or industry is a plus
- Naturally sociable, friendly and approachable personality
- Advanced analytical and creative writing skills
- Comfortable with Google Drive, Excel, Google Sheets, etc
- Understand the use of keywords, hyperlinks, and navigation
- Highly organized and has the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- They must have a good eye for detail, with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
