Job Description
- Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
- Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software.
- Testing graphics across various media.
- The entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect company specifications.
- Managing company proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
- Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
- Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
- Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
Job Requirements
- Proven graphic designing experience.
- Strong ability to translate requirements into design
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
