Job Description
- Designs, illustrates and prepares printing layouts for various brochures, books, newsletters, instructional aides, information pamphlets, annual reports, and other departmental publications and printed material.
- Designs, illustrates and prepares advertising layouts, billboards, posters, exhibits, flyers, letterheads, logos, certificates, forms and other promotional materials.
- Creates electronically designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts; may develop web based graphics.
- Use computer software to generate new images.
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Coordinates with marketing and other departments requesting graphic design or layout work; develops ideas, suggests new or modifies existing ideas; demonstrates graphic techniques and advises other departmental personnel on techniques and methods to use.
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
- Developing interactive design.
- Prepares printing specifications for print shop; & maintains contact with vendors to ensure adherence to time schedules and specifications (when applicable).
- Coordinates production; proofs typesetting and printing for adherence to specifications and production of accurate and high-quality work.
- Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
- Coordinate with HR Department to print the employee’s business cards.
- Coordinate with HR Department to designs the HR letters such as thank you letter, promotion letters and the invitations.
- Assisting the marketing team with marketing ideas, brainstorming and advertising strategies.
- Advise on new techniques/technologies that could improve marketing capabilities.
- Estimating the time required to complete projects and providing quotes.
- Contributing design artwork and ideas to the overall brief.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Support in refining Orchidia’s e-marketing competence.
- Development of unique conference materials to boost Orchidia image
Job Requirements
- University or college degree
- Experience in Packing is a must .
- Minimum two years’ experience in graphic design.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, FreeHand, SonyVegas, Microsoft Office and other relevant programs.
- Website design knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under stress.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
