Job Description
- Provides 1st level users support and services for internal applications.
- Manages user accessibility and authorization on the business applications level.
- Conducts training sessions to newly hired employees on our business applications systems.
- Contact with business applications vendors/providers to have 2nd & 3rd level support for the applications when needed.
- Ensures that database backups for business applications are made to avoid any risk of loss or damage of data.
- Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures. Understand current system deficiencies and necessary updates to be made.
- Create technical support documentation and keep it updated.
- Document application problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Investigate and resolve application functionality issues and provide support and troubleshooting for multiple applications
- Defines and develops software business requirements, and specifications in collaboration with internal users in the different departments ensuring compatibility and integration with the core business applications.
- Formulates any additional reports that are not provided by current business applications to best fulfill reporting needs.
- Submits relevant reports as requested by management.
- Runs and monitors applications performance tests for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in computer science or related field is preferable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience in business application implementation, project management, and database management.
- Strong understanding of basic Database Administration (MS SQL, …).
- IT Management Knowledge.
- Experience with SQL languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in software configuration management.
- Experience with ERP systems and business applications in a corporate environment.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure
