Job Description
- Monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing and publishes data and reports regarding company performance against set indicators.
- Coordinate with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the Quality system is functioning properly.
- Advises on changes and their implementation and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
- Application of quality tools to solve problems: Pareto diagrams, Failure-mode effect analysis, Fish-bone diagram.
- Follow up and ensure that incoming material meet Clorox specifications and that any deviations are accurately and immediately communicated to the material control department.
- Follow up and ensure batch and product sampling, testing, and release to the trade is conducted as per standard, and accurately recorded.
- Ensure local and export finished products are produced according to identified specifications.
- Review plant quality performance weekly, issue summaries, analyzing defects and recommending improvements.
- Investigate quality incidents, identify the basic cause, and further recommend corrective action(s).
- Ensure that all identified reports (daily, weekly, monthly….) are issued correctly and on time.
- Identify operations’ needs of quality training and support giving this training.
- Ensure that the necessary Clorox R&D personnel are involved in the qualification of any product changes and/or the making of any new products.
- Ensure obtaining the necessary Clorox R&D authorization for any specification changes related to either products or material.
- Assisting in new product feasibility studies and implementation.
- Assist Marketing and Material Buying in product/material development.
- Take part in the process of qualifying all potential suppliers.
- Ensure that related safety systems are in place, and follow up on their implementation.
- Develop the plant analytical laboratory.
- Constantly review operations implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices, and coordinate improvement efforts in this area.
- Plan/Construct/Coordinate QA program training's throughout the plant.
- Audit on a monthly basis QA program implementation and report performance vs. set criteria to the plant manager.
