Job purpose
The main responsibility is building and maintaining awesome web apps and internal dashboards and show creativity in enhancing buseet’s apps.
Duties and responsibilities
- Be involved and participate in the overall application life cycle.
- Focus on coding and debugging.
- Collaborate with Back-end developers and Graphic designers.
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
- Provide training help and support to other team members.
- Build a high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future.
- Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Learn about new technologies.
- Stay up to date with current best practices.
- Conduct UI tests and optimize performance.
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications.
- Participate in conferences and educational programs.
- Follow new and emerging technologies.
Job Requirements
Academic Background & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 yrs experience in the same role.
- In-depth understanding of web development.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML and CSS
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Good understanding of SEO principles.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Proficient understanding of automation testing platforms and unit tests.
- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB.
- CI/CD is a plus.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
