Job Description
Administrative responsibilities include:
- Dealing with daily issues concerning her/his section, running the curricular and extra-curricular activities, resolving conflicts and presenting the demands of her/his staff members so as to facilitate the school administration tasks.
Academic responsibilities:
- Elevating the students’ academic level each year is the main objective and responsibility of the school deputy. In order to achieve this goal in her section,
- Conducts daily class visits in her section and keeps a record of the Class Visit Reports
- Checks students written material and follow-up notebooks daily and keeps a record of the Written Material Follow-up Reports
- Sets remedial plans for the weak students according to the school Remedial Policy
- Sets and follows-up the weekly quizzes timetables for each subject in her section
- Acts as an academic adviser to different teachers in her section as needed and as assigned by the school administration
- Provides continuous support for his/her staff members and motivates them to do their best by creating a positive atmosphere of cooperation and understanding.
- Revises the curriculum distribution regularly with the department heads
- Set short and long term professional development plans for her staff according to their needs.
Job Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in British or American international schools is required and certification is a plus.
