Job Description
- Study, Select and implement new applications to support the automation of business processes ensuring the integration
- Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures. Understand current system deficiencies and necessary updates to be made.
- Defines and develops software business requirements, and specifications in collaboration with internal users in the different departments ensuring compatibility and integration with the core business applications.
- Formulates any additional reports that are not provided by current business applications to best fulfill reporting needs.
- Runs and monitors applications performance tests for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
- Provides 1st level users support and services for internal applications.
- Liaise with business applications vendors/providers to have 2nd & 3rd level support for the applications when needed.
- Manages user accessibility and authorization on the business applications level and provide applications data owners with a periodic users access reports to ensure the compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Conducts training sessions to newly hired employees on our business applications systems.
- Ensures that database backups for business applications are made to avoid any risk of loss or damage of data.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends in applications and database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management for future needs.
- Submits relevant reports as requested by management.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree in a computer-related field
- Experience in business applications implementation, project management and database management.
- ITIL Certification .
- PMP or Prince2 Certification.
- Business knowledge
- IT Management Knowledge
- Database Systems (MS SQL, Oracle,…)
- Enterprise applications.
