Job Description

  • Participates in setting Export strategic objectives.
  • Prepares the Export policies & procedures manual and submits to the Commercial Director to review and approve.
  • Monitors their ongoing implementation.
  • Incorporates all changes upon their occurrence, and ensures clear communication of those changes to his direct report.
  • Prepares the yearly Export budget, submits it to the Commercial Director to review and incorporated in the Commercial division budget, and monitors its monthly expenditure to ensure its compliance to the approved budget.
  • Prepares the yearly Export department plan, and monitors its execution to ensure achieving the set objectives.
  • Manages and monitors the Export activities in different Regions and ensures that the customer provided with the optimum product quality levels and delivery on time with no delay.
  • Evaluates the Export opportunities and the new markets recommended by the Regional Export Managers, identifies the potential ones, and presents to the Commercial Director to obtain his approval and support to invade the prospective markets.
  • Ensures regularly delivering products in compliance with the rules and legislation of each country with regard to health, safety and environment requirements of the respective markets.
  • Oversees and monitors all related export activities are in line with the planning and warehouse operations, to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of the shipments to the designated countries.
  • Reviews and consolidates the monthly reports regarding the Export activity in different regions
  • Presents to the Commercial Director for review and recommendations of improvement areas, and communicates it to the concerned Regional Manager for execution to ensure better results.
  • Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time.
  • Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners to their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process.
  • Monitors the implementation of the on-the-job training to ensure an on-going skills development process to increase team competence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree,Preferred MBA holder.
  • 15+ years of professional experience with 5 years in a similar position.
  • experience in manufacturing field (Plastics ) background is a Preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective report writing skills.
