Job brief:
- To work as a travel supervisor in a reputed travel agency to help introduce, promote, and sell tour packages to clients and provide quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communicator with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationship with clients
- Possess good supervisory, management and organizational skills
- Receiving travel requests and checking them for correctness
- Reviewing and verifying travel request to ensure conformity with applicable rules
- Assigning daily tasks to travel staff, and monitoring and assisting them
- Preparing quotation forms and forwarding the same to the travel agents
- Checking and verifying fare constructions on all tickets issued by the Travel Agents
- Drafting notes on queries on irregularities of invoices
- Handling the queries from staff members regarding their traveling schedules
- Counseled members on all aspects of travel planning and made recommendations to improve customer satisfaction
- Sold domestic and international air, train, cruise, tour and group travel products
- Directed sales toward preferred vendors and prepared other travel related documents
- Advised members on the terms and conditions of travel package
- Created computerized passenger records by using basic Apollo system
- Processed requests for travel literature, brochures, tour books and other travel services
- Established and maintained members' travel files as well as handle refund, lost ticket and payment issues
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Travel & Tourism.
- Preferably males to apply
- Extensive knowledge of travel service and industry
- In-depth knowledge of International and Domestic travel services
- Proven working experience in the same role for 2 years.
- Knowledge of online systems is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiations skills
- Presentable and self-aware
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent in English
