Job Description
- Responsible for managing IT infrastructure (Systems, Network, Security, Service Desk Management)
- Responsible for managing ERP system (SAP) Infrastructure.
- Responsible for designing and Implementing and delivering IT continuous improvement solutions and patching the new needed system updates.
- Troubleshooting the IT services to meet the functional objects of the business, supporting users to use the new implemented IT services.
- Responsible for managing overall IT day to day operations to improve infrastructure to meet the functional objects of the business.
- Providing leadership in planning and managing IT back-end (Data Center side) operations, production support, systems, database administration, network and security operations.,
- Providing leadership in planning and managing IT front-end (User side) operations
- Managing IT resource, assets (Hardware and Software) to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic and business demands.
- Providing in depth technical expertise for both technical and operational initiatives to improve business performance.
- Ensuring that the IT Infrastructure team is operating, monitoring and managing Infrastructure risks.
- Managing strategic relationships with key IT product and service providers.
- Assessing the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects.
- Analyzing, predicting trends and developing long range plans designed to maintain cost effectiveness.
- Cooperating with other departments in installing new technologies as per IT technical reviews and infrastructure scope.
- Participating in IT strategy planning activities and implementing user’s policy.
- Performing the needed reports for IT infrastructure operation performance, risk assessment results and vendor performance in areas that include quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness to make the needed actions toward it.
- Ensuring that the system performance and SLA's are met toward service providers side and IT infrastructure team side.
- Participating in assigning budget process.
- Managing IT Infrastructure and services included:
- Data Centers: full administration
- System Administration: Managing Zeina Group Active Directory services, user’s policy, File Sharing services, Email Service Administration (Servers, Storages, Email Security, Backup, Email data and traffic optimization) on Zeina Group On-premises private cloud.
- ERP System (SAP) Infrastructure: administration of new virtual Infrastructure of SAP HANA.
- Network Administration: Managing all networks over WAN and LAN (Wi-Fi) connectivity
- Security Administration: Network traffic security, data security for servers and systems.
- Service Desk Support (Service Operation): managing overall IT day to day operations, troubleshooting user’s issues and IT services
- Virtual Layer Infrastructure Administration: managing the virtual system layer which abstracting and pooling the resources to gain the availability and resources optimization.
- Data Protection Administration: managing backup schedules and restoring process to make sure the availability and integrity of data.
- Designing IT infrastructure services to be agile to business needs and budget, handling, optimizing, assessing resources to ensure the business performance too.
- Providing leadership for front-end and back-end issues with in depth technical details and root cause analysis to keep the business performance.
- Managing IT resources, tangible and non-tangible assets (PC’s – Laptops – Servers - Storage Arrays – Network Switches – Network Routers – Network Firewalls - Network Wi-Fi devices – All Software’s needed) offering the technical reviews and suitable sizing for that.
- Handling, dealing and communicating with service providers in implementing, sizing or troubleshooting system issues.
- Analyzing, predicting trends and developing IT infrastructure process to ensure the availability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Communication
- 6 – 10 years’ experience
- ERP exposure and Microsoft Dynamics Knowledge is a plus
