Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist in Design process through different project stages to ensure compliance of project designs and details with time, cost and quality requirements for the assigned Projects; fulfilling the Development Dep. Plan requirements and proper achievement of their project vision
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assists in the design process with different consultants through the Pre-Concept, Concept, Schematic and Detailed Design stages including full design for the assigned projects by collaboration of all concerned parties;
- Insure fully Collaborate Coordination Meeting with Consultants for Multidisciplinary Design aspects and avoid Design Errors as much as to avoid and minimised VOs
- Reviewing the submittals for projects and verify their compatibility with AFGRE procedures and standards.
- Assist the design manager in preparing the design briefs, Technical aspects for Request for Proposals (RFP’s), studies of user requirements, technical aspects, site conditions, planning, design and building in use etc. as necessary
JOB CONTEXT:
- Assist in controlling the review of Tender Documents including drawings specifications and any relevant production information in sufficient detail; and review As-Built drawings following the practical completion of the project;
- Assist in the preparation of, review and approve measured drawings, condition surveys, design proposals, construction drawings, for the buildings, through proper communication and the accurate implementation of approved intervention packages
- Provide marketing materials for sales purposes
- Prepare presentations as requested to help develop the business or illustrate unclear items for the development
- Assist in obtaining the approvals for all the designs against the governmental Authorities regulations.
- Provide the Tenant Coordination team with necessary information as applicable
- Report on Consultant’s performance and ensure Design Quality throughout the Design Stages
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- B. Sc. in Architecture
Minimum Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience with at least 2 years in Design Management
Job-Specific Skills:
- Arabic and English proficiency is a must
- Professional skills in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, 3DMax, sketch Up, digital imaging software, Microsoft Office
- Sufficient experience in working drawings
